What you stand on

Sheesh Shoes was founded in 2000, making shoes for other people’s labels before it made its own. That order matters: the factory knowledge came first, the badge second.

  1. 01

    Engineered mesh upper

One layer of woven mesh does the whole job: open where the foot vents, tight through the midfoot where it needs holding, and reinforced at the heel so the rearfoot does not roll when the road breaks up under you. No stitched overlays means nothing to rub at 15 km.

    Single layer · 68 g · zoned knit

  2. 02

    Qi supercritical foam

A nylon elastomer foamed under supercritical CO₂ rather than blown with chemical agents. The cells come out smaller and more even, which is why the same volume weighs less and springs back harder than standard EVA — and why it keeps doing so after a few hundred kilometres instead of packing flat.

    72 % rebound · 36 / 28 mm stack

  3. 03

    Carbon-loaded plate

In the Marathon Elite a thin plate sits between foam layers to stiffen the forefoot and cut the energy you lose bending the shoe. It makes the shoe faster and less forgiving. We do not put it in daily trainers, because most runners do not want it there.

Race models only · 0.9 mm

  4. 04

    Full-contact rubber outsole

Rubber across the whole footprint rather than exposed foam pods. Heavier by around 20 g, and worth it on the mix you actually run on here: wet tarmac, construction dust, gravel shoulders, the odd unpaved stretch where the road has simply stopped.

Continuous coverage · 4 mm transverse grooves
